From a young age, I knew I had a passion for makeup artistry. Growing up, I was always the 'go to' for friends and family regarding makeup and beauty advice. It was just months after high school graduation when I realized I needed to follow my dreams of being a professional makeup artist.
I began my career as a Makeup Artist studying at Make-up Designory (MUD) in Los Angeles, California in 2007. It was at MUD, where I was first introduced to the makeup industry. I learned the fundamentals of makeup application and was introduced to different mediums and outlets of the art. I gained technical experience and basic training from my time at MUD. After spending a year in California, I returned home to Minneapolis.
Over the years, I have kept true to my artistic vision and I continue to evolve as an artist. My willingness to continue to grow coupled with my ambition and passion to please my clientele is visible in every makeup application.
When someone sits in my chair, I'm all ears. I listen, I ask a lot of questions and I make every effort to make them feel like the best version of themselves. At the end of the day if my client is happy, I'm happy. When I see the way they light up after looking in the mirror, that's the most rewarding feeling in the world to me.
